Philip Island has a number of tourist attractions including the Penguin Parade, The Nobbies ad the Racing Circuit. The island has some rugged coastlines, beaches and bush reserves. Wildlife, especially birds, are easily found throughout the island. The Nobbies is an Important Bird Area (IBA) and is a breeding area for Little Penguin, Short-tailed Shearwater, Pacific and Silver Gull and Crested Tern. Many of the gallery pictures show the various stages of development in Little Penguin and Silver Gull chicks. The rocky point of The Nobbies is also an important breeding area for the Australian Fur Seal. Other good sites on the Island are Fisher's Wetland, nearby Churchill Island and Swan Lake.
