The You Yangs Regional Park is a collection of rocky tors (peaks) that rise from the western volcanic plains between Melbourne and Geelong. The park consists of various eucalypts, wattles and a sparse understory that caters for a variety of wildlife. Unfortunately, a South African plant, commonly known as Boneseed, has invaded the park. Work is continually carried out by Parks Vic. and various volunteer organisations in an attempt to eradicate the weed with varied success.
